Our ideal candidates will have good mechanical aptitude, understanding of work practices related to underground utility construction and all the hazards related to this type of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:14px\">This is a full-time position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:26px\">Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Perform manual labor such as shovel\/ broom work, hand digging, trenching, pulling and removing material, job site clean-up and various tasks associated with utility construction<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Assist crew members in the placement of cable\/ conduit<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Operate hand and power tools and other general tasks using company and\/or rental equipment<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Load and unload trucks\/ dumpster and haul and hoist materials<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Must have the ability to work safely, with or without supervision<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Participate in daily job briefing and safety meetings and ability to follow instructions and perform assigned duties in a timely manner<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"\/?page_id=233\">Apply Now<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:26px\">Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Must have a valid driver&#8217;s license, reliable transportation, be dependable and punctual<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Labor experience in underground utilities preferred<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Due to the nature of field work, this position may require overtime, working on weekends, holidays, and the possibility of being called in during off hours<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">We are an outside plant construction company, it is mandatory to work outside in the varying elements year round<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Completion of pre-employment background checks, drug screen and motor vehicle record checks are required<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Must be authorized to work in the United States<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Underground Laborers will support an underground crew in the construction of telecommunications infrastructure by working on the ground;
